Plasson Taps

Put in the most simplest of terms, a Plasson Tap is a stop tap that is specifically designed in order to incorporate other connection similarly to many other Plasson products we stock such as Plasson Compression Fittings, Plasson Valves, or Plasson Universal Couplers. Like with any other tap, these transport primarily water, as well as other fluids, providing a reliable and safe passageway to convey liquids throughout infrastructure.  These are most commonly outfitted in urban areas; however, Plasson Taps can also play an integral role in both industrial and mining landscapes as well as even the farming sectors.

Implementing a Plasson Tap into your water system can have multiple benefits, both in terms of its design as well as its functionality. One of the most popular of these is the Artic Ice Resistant Bib Cock, which is a great option should you need a tap that can withstand harsher and colder temperatures. This type of tap comes in 3 different sizes as well, including the 1-inch Artic Ice Resistant Bib Cock, ¾ inch Artic Ice Resistant Bib Cock and ½ inch Artic Ice Resistant Bib Cock options. Not only are these versatile in terms of size, but they are also extremely durable in their construction, meaning you won’t have to worry when it comes to them breaking easily.

Another alternative Plasson Tap we stock is the Bib Tap Hose Union DZR. Compared to the sleek matte black design of the previous product, this option has a more metallic brass finish. Similarly, this product also comes in two different sizes, ranging from ½ an inch to ¾ of an inch. However, there are two main variations of this type of Plasson Tap, as a number of these also come with lockshields and checkable valves.

The final main option we have at the drainage show is the Lever Handle Bib Cock. The design of this Plastic Tap is different when compared to the other two options due to its integrated lever, however, it offers the same capabilities of both. Once again, this tap comes in two different sizes, these being ½ Lever Handle Bib Cock an inch and ¾ Lever Handle Bib Cock of an inch.
